In my favourite city in the world(Dec 2015)

Where I took video of  Azusagawa River at Kamikochi, 1500m above sea level at the base of Japan's third highest Mountain, Mount Hotakadake. E air was so cool & fresh. Of course I had to buy softtoy Arukuma & tofu home!! Also One of e largest producer of apples & grapes in Japan! Surrounded by wild nature & applejuice in hand , I was simply awestrucked by the majesty of the Northern Alps at Azumino...

Appleland discovey while Wandering to check out those wild rivers I saw enroute in the train was the best coz I found the best chocolate & custard buns & lychees. Despite being a very patient individual Penguin had to dragged me out of Appleland as I was still stuck inside, 12 groceries bags & 3 hours later....! 

Trip to HongKong!

For e past 5 years, Bangkok had been my annual escape trip!! Bangkok is so special. Not even Hong Kong or Japan delights me so fondly! Recently, I headed back for an impromptu trip over the weekend to settle matters. 

But gone were the street shops selling the freshest sweetest coconuts, prawn seafood porridge & special omelette egg rice ,  fried chicken , crab otah & fruits in front of Central World! e late night street seafood, random street stalls selling tops, shorts & my slippers were also completely gone!

For e first time in 5 years, an unfamiliar foreign void filled my being. Struck with deep sense of loss but feeling even more determined now than ever........ I stumbled upon the  special omelette egg rice shop & slipper shop the next day. I felt like a lost little kid found ice cream truck!

As stated in my previous post, I won a pair of Airtickets to Fiji. Did all e research & realised there was almost nothing to do except water activities & a couple of uninspiring malls.plus the fact I m terrified of Blacks,The mere sight of them feels like harassment in every unimaginable form.Ridiculously expensive food, lack of safe public transport & an earthquake later, e rest is history. 

Sunbathing on beaches & snorkling feels like such a luxurious waste of time. Alrdy did that at Coral Island, Pattaya a couple of years ago. I would rather explore a city in search of food & shopping! So I flew to Hong kong!! E trip was so impromptu but Sometimes the heart knows what the mind cannot even comprehend or fathom! 

Hong Kong is a jewel. E rumours about rude superficial locals were unfounded! A guy in specs approached me in e MTR to provide directions. Such Friendly & helpful Cantonese Hongkies. I m going back for a week again early next year & m so excited coz e weather is going to be cold & I m going to buy my gold!

No doubt dim sum & Cantonese cuisine can never win Phai Thai & Coconuts, I found e same but even cheaper shopping as Bangkok. I bought couple of bags, shoes, cute toys & lots of accessories ! IFC was lovely & e view at The Peak was breathtaking! Disneyland was so magical it left me wide eye in wonder , strawberry Minnie mouse Ice Cream in hand!

I loved exploring new Cities! Taiwan did not count tho. basically sucked e soul out of me except for Kenting. Rmb e Locals speaking Chinese gave me such a horrible headache literally. I could not even read e shit on signboards. so overrated!! Nothing special to even miss really!

Long live King Bhumibol Adulyadej in our hearts forever! Mine annual Bangkok trips are never going to be e same again!

Penguin & I met Lee Hsein Loong at traffic junction after buffet at Fullerton around Christmas in Dec 2014, w 3 young guys armed w guns as his bodyguards.

Bye 2015! New Year, New Start - Deep Spring Cleaning Starts!

To my previous "Friends" Thanks for e lovely friendship & bittersweet memories! Wonderful Experience nevertheless. No regrets. But yr chapter in my life is over & ended! My Android OS is incompatible w yr Apple one. Even if you upgraded to latest version, things have since become dysfunctional. My patience has worn out. Gone is the zest nor zeal to read each other. e fire & passion once so strong burnt out. I will keep those sparks in my heart! Fact : Of different worlds , indifference & disappointments. Lesson Learnt : Friendships are fragile. Friendships tested through time Petty, jealous , pseudos & users - Left behind unhealthy friendships in 2015. Cheers to a New Year & New Start ! Excited to meet new friends in 2016...
